About Easy Paycheck Calculator

Easy Paycheck Calculator exists because most paycheck calculators are slow, out of date, or built to sell payroll software.

In our October 2026 review of 38 paycheck calculator sites, more than half still showed pre-2026 Ohio rates, most did not show the 2026 Social Security wage base, and many still asked for W-4 “allowances” that were removed in 2020. Every one we speed-tested failed Google’s mobile performance benchmark.

We focus on one thing — paychecks — and do it carefully: 2026 federal and state rules, local taxes, state disability and paid-leave programs, and the current W-4, on pages that load in about a second.

Our principles

  • Accuracy: rates are checked against the IRS, SSA and state agencies, and re-verified every January.
  • Transparency: our methodology lists every formula and simplification.
  • Privacy: calculations run in your browser; we never see your salary.
  • Free: supported by advertising that never affects results.
